Where it all began

I'm sitting in my room at my dad's, pretty much where I began pouring my little life out into this corner of the world wide web. I was so far away from the rest of my family and Matt. I wanted to communicate all things wedding, so I really clung to my lil' blog.

So where have I been? Well I've moved to my mom's since she lives SO close to Matt, and being close has helped cut the wedding stress in half. Literally. 

 I've been running wedding errands quite frequently, well really they take over my life, but when not doing stuff for the wedding I try to just sit and enjoy myself. We get through wedding tasks rather quickly these days, so really, that is not the main reason I have been blogless. 

The real reason I haven't been blogging, is my cute little latina mom lives in the stone age and does have the internet **GASP** nope. I did not have an existential crisis and decide I no longer want to blog, am not having wedding meltdowns of epic proportions, or have not fallen of the earth either. My cute little mommy just doesn't have the internet. hehe.

I miss this lil' hobby of mine, and am constantly thinking about all the things I want to blog about  right before and after wedding... but for now.. my nomad lifestyle precedes me. 

Well, my eyes are pretty much closing.  This post was quite the snoozer, but since sleep has been quite illusive these days, I could use some snoozing! I took some drowsy meds so I can actually get a good night of shut eye, so I can wake up and do it all again. I shall return a better rested Tessy.

 Good night blog world. AND I have still been stalking all of you. every single one of you.

Registering at Macy's is the bomb.com

So the other we went to Macy's to finish registering and get our movie star on!

Ha. totally kidding they really just wanted to ask us a bunch of questions about the registry process on film.. but they went all out putting us in camera ready make up and stuff.

Then came the make up. My favorite part. These MAC make up artists were hilarious.

He was my favorite. He was griping about some kid stealing his brushes "uh uh gurl oh no he didn't"

Then we started with the questions. I don't think we did too good and they said the video may possibly be put on facebook but they didnt seem sure. Whatevs we got a 100 dollars for participating and it was pretty hilarious!

And here we are with our consultant pauline! She's the cutest and most helpful registry consultant at Macy's at memorial city mall - so if you're registering any time soon go meet Pauline and getcha some!

I gotta admit I was Team Bed Bath and Beyond but I've been totally converted by Matthew and his mom to Macy's. The rewards you get if you have a Macy's card, the discount family and friends coupons, and the 20% percent days we get to clean off items left on our registry are all fabuloso.

So things are really really busy in work, life, wedding, house etc. I can't wait to blog about something other than the wedding, but that's all I got for now!

A busy, busy weekend!

I wanted to pretend Matthew and I had eloped today, but I figured I might give some people a panic attack..but happy April Fool's day nonetheless!

I'm sad to this this weekend go!! 

We got to see a lot of Kristen and Chris this weekend, which always makes for some fun!

 We knocked out a ton of wedding errands this week and we're ready to cut loose.  

We seem to be getting faster and faster at this. 

Probably because we miss seeing our friends and having a life! Seriously wedding planning just takes over.

On Friday we saw a few properties with our Realtor Nancy Jane, and nothing really fit our fancy.

Maybe we are being too picky, but I'd rather rent for a few months after the wedding then rush into something that isn't almost perfect for us. 

After the realtor gig, we headed out for some ritas with the gang.

and then over to Canyon Creek:

We had a blast just kicking it with everyone. Kristen made me watch her hang gliding post which had me cracking up for about 30 minutes! omg watch it, its hilarious!

Then Saturday we started our Macy's registry. We registered for a some stuff, then the Macy's consultant asked us to come back and be filmed for bridal testimonials.

WHAT? come again? We shall see what this entails tomorrow!! 

Supposedly they are going to film us and ask questions about the wedding planning process. 

They picked the right girl, because I have a lot to say!! 

I can pretty much talk anyone's ear off if they ask my opinion!

Matthew thinks they picked us because we are an interracial couple, ha.

Then we headed over to meet with the gang to watch the final four. I watched absolutely none of it.

Then Sunday was just perfection. We grilled and laid out. and drank more margaritas of course. 

 Matthew was so excited to get a tan. Oh my goofy sweetie.

of course we had a nail party.

And then we said good bye. On to the week! I shall return with some more wedding updates!

We booked our band, sent our invitations, picked our wedding favors, wrote thank you notes and I bought my wedding shoes!

Only 48 days to go!
